Sun Valley Potato Growers, Inc. Potatoes Cooperative Sun Valley Potato Growers, Inc. is a potatoes farmer cooperative. It is also the only grower-owned cooperative of Idaho potatoes that owns and operates a packing and sales facility. The cooperative is located in Minidoka County in the heart of the Magic Valley of Southern Idaho. Sun Valley Potato Growers, Inc. has approximately 20 growers in Southern Idaho supplying approximately 1.8 million/cwt. of potatoes to the plant. The potatoes are then packed and sold on the fresh market. Potatoes - A Premium Product By owning their fresh pack processing plant, this cooperative creates a situation that brings the grower and the staff together together to produce a premium product. This mission will be accomplished through a combination of cost effective and efficient packaging operations, strategic partnerships and alliances, and superior marketing approaches which establish us as our customer's preferred supplier.
